“How to Improve Your Edgebanding Quality”
Are increased productivity and improved quality important to you? Jason Varelli, Biesse’s Edgebander Product Manager will host an educational seminar on Improving Edgebanding Quality. Whether you are running thin tape, thick PVC, wood coil, HPL strips, wood strips, acrylic or a combination, they all have different requirements and setups in order to obtain the best quality from them. Jason reveals ways to get the most out of your machine by making sure your pre-mill unit is working correctly and that you are using it properly; to better understand glue systems and how to get best performance from them. Are glue scrapers necessary and do they help? What is PUR and do you need it? Are hot air blowers really worth it? Jason talks about things to consider when purchasing an edgebander such as do you need pre-mill or pre-melt? What is automatic adjustment of work units? What’s the difference in corner rounding options and the benefits of controllers? Gain tactics to improve the quality of your edgebanded panels and reduce the handwork or cleaning better through understanding of the processes.
