The all NEW BIESSE ROVER A EDGE
Optimized for small to medium production environments, the new Rover A Edge combines the innovative edgebanding technology of our larger Rover C Edge with the proven performance of our Rover A machining center, ensuring high-function and high-flexibility all at a very competitive price point.
- Glue is applied directly to the panel edge, just like with regular inline edgebanders, to ensure the very best bonding quality.
- A two coil magazine, placed outside the safety fence, allows for the quick change of banding material without any machine stops.
- A double Y axis provides high productivity and allows simultaneous tool change while the machine is edgebanding.

- HSD aggregates finish the edge and guarantee a high quality finish while maintaining productivity.
- All trimming and scraping aggregates (for the edge or glue) are equipped with pneumatic and mechanical copying systems for both vertical and horizontal copying, in order to absorb the dimensional variations of wood or plastic materials.
- High speed axes operate at up to 100m/min (X/Y/Z Vector Velocity).
- The tool change position minimizes machine movements to increase productivity.
- Includes an oversized 170mm Z-axes passage.
- The versatile machine configuration is ideal for additional processes that can be performed through the wide range of HSD aggregates or dedicated multifunction aggregates.
- The ATS table of the Rover A is the most versatile and fastest to setup in the industry. Multiple configurations of the work area allow for more efficient management of daily production.
- The very rigid table design provides firm and strong material holding even during the most challenging machining operations.
- Available electronic positioning systems (EPS) allows for full CNC setup of the machine table in just seconds.
